Flare-up mode

When the hand is irritated, we stop pushing.

Recovery is not linear. Flare-up mode classifies the symptom spike, removes the load that likely caused it, and tells you exactly what has to be true before you go back to the normal plan.

Return-to-plan checklist

You can resume the normal plan only when all of these are true. Then progress by changing only one variable at a time — reps, sets, hold time, resistance, speed, duration, or complexity.

  • Pain at baseline or 0–3 / 10.
  • Swelling is not increasing.
  • Tingling does not linger after motion.
  • Next morning is same or better.
  • You completed the lighter routine safely.
  • No red flags present.
